Historical Targeting of Domestic Violence 2003/4: To increase the percentage of arrests where a power of arrest was identified following the report of a domestic violence incident by 5%. 2004/5: To achieve a minimum reduction of 12% in the number of repeat domestic violence victims. 2002/3: To increase the number of domestic violence incidents reported 2005/6: To achieve a minimum detection rate of 65% for domestic violence

To achieve a minimum detection rate of 65% for domestic violence West Cornwall: 67.4%Teignbridge: 37.0% Exeter: 37.6%

Clear Up Method of Detections (April to July 2005) DV Crimes: 2,887 DV Incidents only: 4,302 Total: 7,189 (-3.5% on 2004/5)
