Welcome to Mrs. Barfield’s Class

Mrs. Barfield’s CLASSROOM RULES FOLLOW ALL SCHOOL RULES. BE ON TIME TO CLASS. NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE COMPUTER AREA (NO CANDY OR GUM). REMAIN SEATED DURING ENTIRE CLASS PERIOD. SHOW RESPECT TO INSTRUCTOR AND PEERS. NO SLEEPING DURING CLASS PERIOD. HALL PASSES GIVEN ONLY IN EMERGENCIES (Use the restroom before you come to class, if you are going to be late stopped by my room to get permission).

CLASSROOM PROCEDURES COME IN TO THE CLASSROOM QUIETLY, BE SEATED AND WORK QUIETLY PLACE COMPLETED WORK IN APPROPRIATE TRAY /BIN BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS RETURN ALL MATERIALS TO PROPER PLACE AT THE END OF CLASS PERIOD CLEAN YOUR WORK AREA BEFORE LEAVING CLASSROOM

PARTICIPATION Work together to accomplish a common goal BE ON TIME AND IN YOUR SEAT WHEN THE BELL RINGS BE PREPARED WITH PAPER, PENCILS, PENS, AND BINDER REMAIN ON TASK UNTIL TEACHER STATES IT TIME TO PREPARE TO LEAVE CLASS BE COURTEOUS TO CLASSMATES AND TEACHER. COMPLETE ALL ASSIGNMENTS PER CLASS PERIOD IF POSSIBLE LEAVE WORK AREA CLEAN Work together to accomplish a common goal

Responsibility and Ethics You must not damage computer hardware and must not add or remove equipment without permission. You must not alter data belonging to someone else without permission. You must not use an inappropriate login name You must not use technology equipment without permission i.e.. smart-board, document camera etc.) Follow the Acceptable Use and the Internet Acceptable Use guidelines such as but not limited to the following: Not violating copyright laws, Not violating WSFCS rules, Not Abiding by Internet Etiquette Rules.

You must not use the computer for play during work time. You must not go to unauthorized sites such as: Facebook,Twitter,MySpace,Gmail, etc. You must not add to or take away from the software programs and must not make unauthorized copies of data or software You must not open additional Micro-type accounts without the teacher’s permission. Keep the rolling chairs in good condition, rolling and or swiveling is not permitted.

CONSEQUENCES FOR BREAKING RULES VERBAL WARNING. WORK IN ISOLATION AREA. LOSS OF ALL HALL PASSES. ROLLING CHAIR REPLACED WITH A REGULAR CHAIR. PARENTAL CONTACT SERIOUS INFRACTION WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC D-1 IN OFFICE.
