How do you know where to apply?

Send in Application, SAT/ACT, transcript and recommendations as needed in any order Don’t wait for test scores Texas state colleges: (and many Texas private colleges)

Students on the free or reduced lunch program can get fee waivers for SAT/ACT tests, college application fees from the College Corner. Student assistance is available from Lamar for senior dues, graduation cap & gown and dual credit book fees. See Ms. Southwell in the main office.

Take SAT / ACT twice if needed Choose the test that suits your strengths Complete testing in time to meet the application deadline

 Username: HISD student ID  Password: 8 digit date of birth in MMDDYYYY format with no slashes or dashes  for parent code. In Subject Line: Naviance code. Include name and

 Lamar does not mail transcripts.  On Naviance, a stamp or computer picture by the school name indicates how to get transcripts to colleges

An Orange Stamp symbol means you have to pick up the transcript in the Registrar’s Office and mail it yourself “SENT” in Naviance means the transcript is ready to pick up Mail only schools: UT Austin, UTSA, Texas A & M College Station, TSU, Prairie View A & M, all scholarship programs

Transcript will be sent electronically when ordered through Naviance We send transcripts electronically to: UH, Texas State, Texas Tech, Lamar University, Univ of North Texas, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin

When the October rank is out mid month, transcripts with the July rank will no longer be available. If October is better, send it too Top 10% or 8% for UT = SEND NOW
