CLASSROOM LAYOUT Alex, Emily and Launa

OUR LAYOUT

HOW WILL THIS WORK IN THE CLASSROOM? Allows the children to learn new things in “rotation” style learning Gets the kids up and moving around Different activities from iPad apps to computer games

ISTE STANDARD 2 We had reorganized a room to allow more technology into the room. We want away from the typical set up of the classroom and instead switched it around. We wanted to make sure that the room could be changed if needed as well as making the technology mobile if needed. Our class allows for students to work in groups with the iPads at the tables or allows for students to take their technology somewhere else in the room to do their own work. There would be station or main iPad/laptop that would keep track of the student’s work.

ISTE STANDARD 2 Students would be able to take test on the iPads or laptops. Having the technology in the room would allow for teachers to assess their students differently. There would not be only one way to asses students and the teacher would be able to make different test for different students.
