2-2 TEMPERATURE

Fahrenheit and Celsius  Gabriel Fahrenheit ( ) was one of the first to develop a thermometer. His standards were quite arbitrary.  Scientists eventually went with Anders Celsius ( ) system because it fit the metric system better.

 William Thomson, Lord Kelvin ( ) developed a system that is the SI standard today based on Absolute Zero.  This is the point where ALL molecular motion STOPS completely.  THIS IS A THEORETICAL MEASURE
