You need to make sure your images are designed so that they contrast well with your poster background and can be seen clearly. For example, the white image to the lower right has a black box around it so it can seen clearly. Also, be sure to place your images appropriately so its clear what they represent according to your text. If printing at 8.5 x 11 (the normal size of notebook paper and laser printer paper: The smallest you should print is: Arial, Font Size 24 Because, font size 20 or below looks really small, like this sentence Arial, Font Size 28 This is a good size, and is nice and easy readable on most pages If Printing a poster sized sheet, your font can be smaller, but it is advisable that you still stay at font size 20 or above, as this will make it optimally readable to be viewers. The printing size of the poster is controlled through the “page setup…” option under “File” in the Top Menu. This poster is set to 24 X 35, which is a standard poster printing size. If you are printing on a large size printer, you should be able to just hit “print” and not change anything, and it should print correctly. The print settings become available when you click “Print” under “File” in the Top Menu. If you want to print on a smaller sheet, like 8.5 X 11, you will need to click the checkbox titled “Scale to Fit Paper” at the bottom of the “Print” dialog. This will scale this form to fit on the smaller sheet of paper correctly. Font for Your Text You can Use Various Different Fonts, but the primary fonts used on most posters are the following. You just probably always use one of these 4 fonts (all displayer at size 36).
