[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

اَلْحَمْدُ ِللهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

Be Careful! جَعَلْنَا جَعَلَنَا We made He made us.

Be Careful! خَلَقْنَا خَلَقَنَا He created us. We created.

Be Careful! رَزَقْنَا رَزَقَنَا He provided us.We provided.

أَمُوتُ ، َأَحْيَا --- أَفْعَلُ مَاتَ أَمَاتَ حَيَّ أَحْيَا طَعَمَ أَطْعَمَ 3 rd person; Advanced forms He gave life He gave death 1 st Person I die.I live. I do. He gave to eat. He fed. Similar to the Last Lesson! He died He lived He ate; He tasted.

Supplication after Eating Do I think of using the energy in thanking Him by action (in addition to thanking Him by heart and tongue) AS A MUSLIM. Plan to do some good. Make sure that we don’t use the energy in disobedience. Praise and thanks be to Allah who fed us….. and made us from among Muslims. Propagate the message that the purpose of our lives is to LIVE as a MUSLIM.

Why do we say غُفْرَانَكَ ? Why do we say غُفْرَانَكَ (I ask Your forgiveness) ? It has two interpretations   I could not do Your Zikr in the bathroom (Importance of Zikr)   O Allah I enjoyed the food you gave; digested it; got energy; and now removed the waste. But could not thank you enough for that. So, I ask Your forgiveness!

Motivational tip

When you open the Qur’an… Qur’an takes you for true time and space ride. There is nothing false (simulation) here! Qur’an is kitabul-mastoor : written book The universe, with all its details including humans becomes kitabul-manzoor (an open book).

An example: From Surah An-Naba   Have We not made the earth a resting place? And the mountains as stakes? And created you in pairs, …   And constructed above you seven strong (heavens), And made therein a burning lamp, And sent down from the rain clouds pouring water, That we may bring forth grain and vegetation. And gardens of entwined growth? … Space / time

An example: From Surah An-Naba   Indeed, the day of judgment is an appointed time..   Indeed, Hell is lying in wait; For the transgressor, a place of return…   Indeed, for the righteous is attainment – garden and grapevines…. Future/ time

Surah Abasa   Has the story of Moses reached thee? Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: …   But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation,   But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. History

An advice with love and affection!   Have you seen a mother advising her child through stories and examples?   Warning her child of consequences of bad action?   Allah is much more kind to us than a mother is to her child.   More than that, we will find Al-Qur’an matching perfectly with our innate nature!

To go on this ride…   Just open the Qur’an WITH FAITH AND DEVOTION and start reading it or listening to it.   And you can enjoy that ride! A spiritual – intellectual – emotional – time and space ride.

BUT THERE IS A CONDITION!!! You have to understand its Arabic!!!
