Functional Art Making Planters out of clay!

STEP ONE: Choose one of the plants provided for this project! - Examine the plant and try to notice what makes it unique. - Determine if there is any portion of the plant which you would like to highlight, and how you can do that with your planter design. - Will your planter be stationary, hang on the wall, hang from the ceiling? - Remember: You may need to make a drain hole in the bottom of the planter you create. STEP TWO: Sketch your idea! Think it out, do some planning, love your idea! STEP THREE: Wedge your clay and get moving! *Remember, you can use earthenware clay or porcelain too!
