My dad’s mom’s name is Sara. She was born in Israel. She lived in Israel, then moved to England. Sara celebrates all Jewish holidays. She ate Middle Eastern and English Food. Sara was a student in Israel and England. She also worked in a hospital. Sara played hide and seek, skip rope and she roller skated. All day she would study, play and help her mother. Sara left Israel to join her father. There wasn’t a war and she was treated fairly. When Sara moved to the U.S. she liked it. She fit in, spoke the same language and got a good job.

Sara worked in a great hospital. It wasn’t very hard for her. She had breaks. She had a job, she got paid fairly but, she didn’t have a lot of money.

The weather where Sara was living was mild. She had chores to do. She liked all kinds of food. Sara went places with people like her. She fit in. Sara had to get used to driving a car and shopping at malls. When she moved, Sara took a boat with some people she knew and she wasn’t scared at all!

Sara didn’t move because of a war, famine or because her country was poor. Sara changed her last name and had to eat different food but, she didn’t have to get new clothes.

That was the history of Sara Noorily.

My dad’s dad is named Morry. Morry lived in Iran. He celebrates Jewish Holidays. He ate Middle Eastern food. Morry was a student in Iran. He liked to play baseball. He also tutored people, studied and played. Morry came to the U.S. to study. He fit in, spoke English and had a part time job after school.

Morry was a secretary for a business man. He had a lot of work to do but, it wasn’t very hard. Morry didn’t get paid a lot and he didn’t have a lot of money.

The weather where Morry lived was close to California weather. He had some chores. He likes American food. Morry had to get used to driving and going to malls. When Morry came to the U.S. he flew by plane. He didn’t go with anyone he knew but, it wasn’t scary.

Morry didn’t come because his country was poor, famine or because there was a war. He just came to study. To fit, in Morry had to shorten his last name and got new clothes. He also had to eat different foods.

That was the history of Morry Noorily.
