There are different types of entitlements, representing different types of products. – License entitlements Right to use one or more copies of software Users activate license entitlements to create/update activation records – Maintenance entitlements Right to receive upgrades May be linked to a specific license entitlement – Support entitlements Right to technical support and service May be linked to a specific license entitlement – Upgrade entitlements Used to provide access to an upgrade For example, purchasing the upgrade version of software

Use the if you have several customers with the same name and this way a separate window will appear where you can first select the correct customer and then come back to search for their specific entitlements. 1.Enter known data in search criteria fields. 2.Click Search Entitlements. TIPS for best search results: Company is the customers parent company name, you may not know how Avaya has this represented as in master data. Therefore, we suggest that you use Group ID: which is the customer Functional Location SAP number, or click Advance Search and enter the SAP order number in the Sales/Contract # field.

Search for Entitlements FieldDescription Company:End Customer’s Parent Company name (not suggested) Group Name:Customer’s company – SAP FL # Group ID:Customer FL (sold-to/ship-to, site where the software is used) LAC:License Activation Code (software key) Application:Applications which have transitioned to PLDS Product:Product names which have transitioned to PLDS Status:Active = all activated; Available = all or some are available; Expired = apply to SS contracts and temp licenses; Unassigned = end customer was not defined on RFA record, upon conversion the record was put into an orphaned account. Entitlement ID:Unique number PLDS randomly assigned records Entitlement Type:License, SS, SSU, Maintenance, Pre-paid Upgrades Dates:Date ranges for record results Customer PO#:PO used when placing the order with Avaya, usually the distributors PO Material Code:ASD/SAP Material Code Material Code Description:ASD/SAP Material Code Description Sales Contract #:SAP Order # Sales/Contract Qty:Qty of specific material code being searched, to be used in conjunction with material code, customer etc. Price List:If a specific price list was used at time of order SID:RFA System ID, applicable only to RFA converted records; all PLDS records will have a Host ID and not a SID. Source System:SAP B-Box or I Box order or Atlas for Germany orders Product ID:PLDS Product ID, usually the same as ASD/SAP material code, unless it is a bundle, which will be one Product ID which blows out into multiple ASD?SAP material codes.

Review/confirm the results Select the appropriate entitlement to act upon. TIPS for using search results: Use the Options column to act upon the record.
