How do I address possible gaps in your child’s learning ? All students are pre-assessed After pre-assessments, curriculum is designed to address areas of improvement. Areas of strength are supported through various gifted methods that are research- based. Students are monitored throughout the year using district-approved tests. Tutoring is available throughout the year.

What This Means CUSD CATS students have a unique opportunity to interact with one another at a challenging level during the entire day. They are not ‘gifted’ for just one hour a day or three hours a week! In addition, your child is at a very friendly school where the environment is conducive to positive social interaction with new friends at various grade levels!

Next Steps  Continue to support your child!  Be an advocate for Gifted Education  Allow mistakes…  Embrace differences  Create a parent ‘network’
