Auguste Rodin, The Kiss (Sculpture) Robert Indiana, LOVE (Sculpture) In your journal, create a Venn diagram to list the similarities and differences of these two works of art.

Now it’s your turn!!! Here is a list of common comparison essay assignments:  two sports (basketball and football)  two seasons (summer and fall)  two people (mother and daughter)  two objects (house and apartment)

Now it’s your turn!!! HiNt: For better comparisons, choose an unlikely pairing:  two teams (The 2002 Korea World Cup team and the 2010 World Cup team)  one season, different countries (summer in Korea and summer in Philippines)  one person, different situation (me talking to mother and me to talking to father)  two similar places (two kimbap restaraunts, one from childhood and one near the university.) Are they really all the same??? Look closely!!!!!)

Now it’s your turn!!! Homework: Make a list of things you want to compare. Bring the list to class. Be unusual. Wild. Think OutSide of The BOX!! For each category below provide two comparisons.  Books [Example: 1. Superman and Spiderman Comic /// 2.
