Where the Wichita Indians lived. The Wichita Indians lived in northern texas.

What the Wichita Indians ate and how they got it. The Wichita Indians were farmers the women stayed at home and grew crops of corns, squash, and pumpkins. The men would go hunting for deer and small foods.

The Wichita's daily life activities. The Wichita women would stay at home and harvest their food of their crops. The men would mostly go out and hunt for deer and small animals for dinner.

What did the Wichita Indians believe in and worship? “they believed in the morning star and the moon

What were the Wichita Indians know for? The Wichita Indians are known for their cropping. They would crops all the vegetables you could possibly think of!

What were the Wichita Indian's traditions and celebrations? They did the “ghost dance” religion celebration

What contributions did they give to Texas? They gave us many words we use everyday such as caribou, buffalo, and chipmunks. We eat many vegetables that they grew back then, such as corn and squash.

What changed for them as settlers arrived? They were used to herd buffalo A lot of contagious diseases caused many deaths They were introduces to guns and weapons
