Introduction *Flowing water referred to as hydro power is the most closely used renewable energy source in the world, a renewable energy source based on the natural water cycle. *Hydropower projects easy to design, and has a relatively high capacity. *Moving water contains on huge inventory of natural energy *This energy can be used and converted into electricity that not lead to the emission of greenhouse gases

To convert water energy to electrical energy we need for a continuous source of water such as a river Hydropower cheapest way to generate electricity today, and this is because it is built once. the energy source flowing water is free. It's a clean fuel source that is renewable yearly by snow and rainfall. It is also readily available engineers can control the flow of water through the turbines to produce electricity on demand. In addition, reservoirs may offer recreational opportunities, such as swimming and boating Hydropower

Hydropower has been used by humans since ancient times. Been using the energy of falling water to turn the water wheels that the transfer of mechanical energy to the grinding stone to turn wheat into flour before more than 2000 years. Hydropower

 In 1848, the turbine was created, improving the waterwheels and mills which were big and slow. Turbines are specific to each site.  The first hydroelectric power plant was built at the Niagara Falls in  In the late 1940’s, big dams for hydropower had been built. Hydropower
