Dr. Barry Brown retired in June 2007 from his position as head of Department of Curriculum Studies in the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan. Barry Brown has been involved with technology and taught at the University of Saskatchewan since 1964.

He established the Educational Communications and Technology Program at the University of Saskatchewan, is a former President of the Association for Media and Technology in Education in Canada and received AMTEC’s prestigious Leadership Award in 1987, which recognizes a person who has made profound contributions to educational technology in Canada.

In this interview Dr. Barry Brown shared some of his experiences as he reflected on the changes and advancements that have been made in technology in education.
