Telling Our Story Initiative and District Days Alice Wiggins-Tolbert, Vice-Chair of Marketing and Communications and Chair of Telling Our Story Task Force

Overview – Extra, Extra, Tell All About It…  APTA Chair M.P. Carter has made “Telling Our Story” her signature initiative.  Our story is one of great importance for lawmakers and the general public. Whether it’s a stronger economy, better environmental sustainability, or greater energy independence, public transportation takes us there.

‘Telling Our Story’ Continued…  These efforts will be guided by the new Telling Our Story Task Force.

Featured Event: District Days - Telling Your Story to Congress January 6-8, 2010  With all the attention on the creation of jobs, APTA and the Telling Our Story Task Force are organizing the first Tell Your Story to Congress Days while members of the U.S. House of Representatives are home on recess.

District Days - Telling Your Story to Congress January 6-8, 2010  APTA members meet with their U. S. House of Representatives members while they are on recess January just before they return to Washington.
