More difficult to identify because they’re defined differently by different people For example: Some say this is beauty. Tricky “idea” nouns Others say this is beauty.
So how can I be sure if something is a noun? A good trick is to try to place the word “the” in front of the word in question. If it works, it’s probably a noun (unless it’s a proper noun like Patty, Bernard or Cleveland).
