Options, applications, and procedures 2015/16: For applications to go abroad 2016/17 Andrea Klaus and Grit Brendecke The Year Abroad in Germany and Austria

What are my options..... what should I do? Study at a partner university in Germany or Austria via the Erasmus+ scheme (1 or 2 Semesters) teach as an ELA (English Language Assistant) at a German or Austrian school via the British Council take a work placement, usually in conjunction with one semester at a university

- students wanting to go to Berlin, Cologne or Munich have to commit to the whole year, i.e. they will not be allowed to go on a work placement in the second half of the YA - Ger/Bus students normally choose a university placement in the first half and a work placement in the 2nd half of the YA - See website for further info on partner unis - Forms have to be returned by 4th December 2015 University placements

- You will know by January which university you can go to - We will contact the universities in Germany/Austria - The formal registration process will take place in the spring (via the International Office) University placements - 2 -
