Experiences from Akershus, Norway…. Young Enterprise (UE) Akershus is the most important partner for implementing entrepreneurship in education UE is an non commercial organisation supported by the government, municipalities, the regional County and private enterprises The government made an action plan for entrepreneurship in 2010 saying we have to renew the education to achieve diversity, quality and creativity.

Entrepreneurial programs in the whole educational system 15 education programs for entrepreneurship from primary school until University…Main programs: Primary school: Sikk Sakk Europe, Our local society, Smart Secondary school: Pupils Enterprise, “Job Shadow”, economy and career choice, grundercamps Upper secondary school: Youth Enterprise, grundercamps, girls and leadership, enterprise without borders

High activity in Akershus schools Akershus County Council owns and runs 34 upper secondary schools in Akershus. 32 of these participate in entrepreneurial programs students in all schools in Akershus have participated in different programs Good results from using the method “Inclusive Workplace” (IA) in youth enterprises The absence from school/youth enterprice reduced to half Program for Girls and management

Schools must cooperate with private enterprises Important to have competitions between youth enterprises Grundercamps, local, national and european championship Partnership between schools, local society and private enterprises Young Enterprise (UE) Akershus is an important partner to achieve our goals
