Vuorentausta School

We have four seasons

 We are a primary school in Ylöjärvi, Finland. Ylöjärvi is a small town next to Tampere in Southern Finland. Our school is situated in a small suburbia surrounded by forests.  We have 220 pupils in classes 1-6. We have 25 staff members (17 teachers).

 Free school lunch  2-3 breaks (30 minutes) during the school day  Many clubs: German, literature, gymnastics, guitar playing, school band, choir  Weekly assembly together in the gym  Our specialities are early English learning and music classes.

 We participate in many projects:  Lukuinto - Joy of reading  Vihreä lippu (Green flag) environmental program  Comenius-projects (assistant teacher in 2012) Do you believe what you see ? Our Healthy Way of Life
