Welcome to the Kensuke Class Assembly

This half-term we have been looking at instructions.

We started by reading instructions for card games.

Then, we invented our own versions of tig.

Later that morning, we created verbal instructions as we explained how to play our games to others.

From there, we began to identify the features of written instructions.

Then we evaluated the effectiveness of different examples.

Last week, we spent time baking to reinforce what we had already learned about reading instructions in the context of recipes.

We also began to brainstorm ideas for a ‘Recipe for the Perfect Friendship’.

We have written our own ‘Recipe for the Perfect Friendship’. We’d like to share some with you now.
