Fudge
Characteristics Fudge should be creamy and smooth Overcooked- dry and hard- you can feel the sugar crystals Undercooked- gooey and doesn’t hold shape
Step 1 Combine Sugar, Butter and Milk in a saucepan 1 ½ C sugar 6 T butter 1/3 c. evaporated milk
Step 2 Cook on Medium heat until sugar dissolves Boil fudge for 5 minutes Stir constantly
Step 3 Remove fudge from heat and stir in chocolate 6 oz of chocolate chips
Step 4 Stir in marshmallow crème and vanilla 3.5 oz of marshmallow ½ tsp vanilla
Step 5 Pout into a greased 9x9 pan and cool at room temperature ( place in your tightly covered bin
Peanut butter fudge
Step 1 Combine Sugar, Butter and Milk in a saucepan 2 1/4 C sugar 4 T butter 3/4. evaporated milk
Step 2 Sstir over medium heat until sugar dissolves Boil fudge for 5 minutes Stir constantly
Step 3 Remove from heat Stir in marshmallow crème and peanut butter ¼ C of marshmallow 1 C peanut butter
Step 4 Pout into a greased 9x9 pan and cool at room temperature ( place in your tightly covered bin
