Cohousing Completions in 2015 Coppers Lane – residents move into London’s 1st cohousing community OWCH – on site and due to move in the Spring 16. Stroud Co-flats development completes

Cohousing under development in 2015 Preparing to start on site – Woodside (London), Cannock Mill (Colchester), Open House Project (Sheffield), K1 Cambridge. At the planning stages – Bridport Cohousing Land identified – Norwich Cohousing, Bristol Cohousing and Chapel Town Cohousing (Leeds).

What does the UK Cohousing Network offer: Membership scheme of benefits a resource point for new & forming cohousing groups an advice point for local authorities, housing associations & other enablers seeking to make cohousing financially accessible hosting learning and networking events raising awareness of cohousing – media & stakeholder engagement undertaking lobbying & policy development

Size of UK Sharing Economy UK consumers benefit from £4.6 billion of savings and earnings from the Sharing Economy. 33 million Brits (64% UK adults) are already sharing, & a further 14 million would consider it. 19% of people who share do it to help people in their neighbourhood. Good neighbours add 20% to the value of homes
