ONR Competence 54 On the Job Training (OJT) activities identified e.g. OJT 22: carry out Licence Instrument QA check. Competence: understanding of assessment process and permissioning key business activity. Purpose of OJT: OJT 22 introduces the Inspector to the importance of correct legal drafting in Licence Instruments. OJT 33: attend emergency exercise (field). Competence: appreciation of Redgrave Court Incident Suite and field roles in ONR emergency preparedness arrangements. Purpose of OJT: all ONR Nuclear Safety Inspectors are expected to be able to play their part in ONR emergency preparedness arrangements. OJT 33 introduces the Inspector to duty-holder functions by providing an opportunity to observe a Level 1/2 exercise at site.
