98908 Introduction to Emerging Technologies

In these days, learning and teaching system is improving. E-learning start to be strengthen all over the world. E-learning is essentially the computer and network-enabled transfer of skills and knowledge using various tools to deliver the content of training such as Internet, CDs or TV.

My midterm presentation concern a blog site which is a free mini website easy to use and easy to share information with others. A blog is more helpful because it allows people to read the thoughts of author and comment to them.

Blog is a fundamental tool to online learning; preparation, uploading and sharing information and documents online. Identifying myself by my real name will help my blog visitors to identify information related to me. My aim is to develop a tool that could, show the blogger the state of its privacy settings.

The advantages of using blog:  Makes learning independent of time and place  Makes education demand oriented, participant- centered  Encourages learners to be active throughout the course period  Helps learners to improve writing competencies  Captures changes in thinking  Invite people to collaborate  Makes education more informal…

 Other learners prefer 1-way teaching and to be told what they must to do  Supply orientation is still a part of education culture at many schools  As everyone can participate on a blog, biased and/or inaccurate information nay occur.  Some learners are under heavy pressure (Full time job, other courses, family,…)  Some education participants are less open than others,… My blog Shows how my PLE is organized.

As a database administrator of academic institution, the blog I created will help me and all community to have information about the data base I administrate. My PLE is a way to achieve my objectives y-ple/ y-ple/ The future work will be effective becouse many people of our institution or outside the institution will contibute.

 A blog allows me to post questions about the programming language and get answer from the community.  When I get error in the codes, I post the error on the blog and get various solutions at the same place.  It creates a Community by reacting on the posts I made  I don't need to worry about site creation costs and maintenance fees when using free blog sites  The blog helped me to build up my online network

In these days, information remain a key of all organizations. To keep people informed on what you are doing or on your life, a blog is where your post message and others comment on it.
