Team Teaching How to use these models

Before you begin: Make sure your audio is turned on. If you would like a transcript of the audio track, print out the ‘Notes’ sections of the PowerPoint slides. This series of PowerPoint presentations is a non- facilitated, self-directed course in eight sections. While it is best to work through the course from beginning to end to get the fullest understanding of Team Teaching, you can choose to do only selected sections. It’s recommended that you complete the Introduction (section 1) and the Conclusion (section 8) with any of the other sections you choose. Team Teaching: How to Use

Who is this training designed for? Teams of: Beginning I-BEST team teachers. Current I-BEST team teachers who want to brush up, improve their skills, or try different methods. Teachers who would like to try team teaching. Program administrators who oversee I-BEST programs and team teaching groups. Team Teaching: How to Use

Training Objectives In this training you will: Identify, understand, and learn to use the six models of Team Teaching. Analyze issues around Team Teaching. Prepare to implement Team Teaching in I-BEST or other integrated programs. Identify and share Team Teaching strategies, practices and methods. Team Teaching: How to Use

Directions for use With your team or teaching partner: Open each section in turn, starting with the Introduction. Read the materials.
