Methods of Stress Relief  1. Work off stress with physical exercise  2. Talk out your worries (with a friend or parent)  3. Learn to accept what you cannot change  4. Avoid self medication (alcohol and drugs)  5. Get enough sleep and rest  6. Balance work and recreation – make time for both

Methods of Stress Relief  7. Do something for others  8. Take care of one stress at a time  9. Give in once in awhile  10. Get alone occasionally to be quiet and think  11. Write it down (journal or letters)  12. Do something nice for yourself  13. Eat balanced meals – avoid the junk food
