How to access your pool of candidates
Accessing pool of applicants: Log into People Admin at Select ‘Active Postings’ Find the correct position number Click ‘View’ under the classification title. The page defaults to the applicants tab
Active postings:
Accessing pool of applicants: To review applications, select ‘SP and Temp App’ or ‘Fac, Admin, AMP App’ (depending upon the type of position) under each applicant To view resumes and cover letters, if applicable, select ‘Resume’ or ‘Cover Letter’ from the document column
People Admin view:
Accessing pool of applicants: To view multiple applications, select the boxes on the right side of the applicants (under All/None) or select ‘All’ at the top of the column to view all of the candidates’ applications. This can be done for viewing resumes/cover letters in the documentation column, by checking the boxes and selecting ‘View Multiple Documents’
People Admin view:
Review & interview applicants: Review the candidates’ applications and/or resumes Schedule interviews with a minimum of three candidates Conduct interviews If a Veteran claiming preference is in the applicant pool, he/she must be interviewed (applies to Support Personnel positions only)
Review & interview applicants: If an appropriate candidate is found, move forward in the hiring process (See initial hiring review section for more information) ***Do not offer the position to the candidate without appropriate approvals*** If an appropriate candidate is not found, contact the Employment office in order to repost the position (minimum re-posting period is one week)
