Welcome to our school!

First Teacher Your child’s first teacher is not their Headstart, Preschool, or Kindergarten Teacher. It is you!

Establish a Routine at Home Once your child begins Kindergarten Everyday you should check their bookbag (important notes from the school and teacher will be in there). Check their homework folder every night. Help your child with their homework. Read for 15 or 30 minutes everyday and sign 1 or 2 lines in their 100 Book Challenge Log Before your child enters Kindergarten Plan a time to read with them everyday. Come up with a bedtime for your child. Children thrive on routines.

Typical Day/Routine The children come in put their coats and bookbags away. They turn in their homework folders and 100 Book Challenge bags. They do their Bellwork for about 10 minutes. Morning 100 Book Challenge

Uniforms Students may wear white, blue, yellow, maroon, and gold uniform shirts. The shirts must be polo style, button up, or turtlenecks. Their pants need to by khaki, navy blue or black.

Dress Down or Jean Day We have a jean day on the last Friday or every month. Students must wear a uniform shirt or Crouse shirt with their jeans.
