Recent history November 12, 2014 New contract in place (runs until June 30, 2017) You got a 1.6% raise for 2014/2015 “Salaries for Years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 shall be subject to negotiation…” June 16, 2015 Bargaining reopens for 2015/2016 salary CFA proposes 5% raise; CSU management proposes: 2% July 22, 2015 CFA team and CSU management agree they are at “impasse”; arbitration now an option

Recent history August 31, 2015 CFA team and CSU management meet with mediator September 8, 2015 CSU Board of Trustees meetings end with no indication of possible action on negotiations Mediation postponed (CSU “failed to provide data”) September 10, 2015 CFA chapter president DD Wills sent you an with subject line “strike vote”

What happens now? Whatever you decide. We are nearing the end of the statutory process; the language in the contract prohibiting “concerted activity” (i.e., striking, etc.) might be suspended. CFA is organizing statewide to: 1)ensure that whatever happens next is in accordance with the wishes of its membership 2)ensure that whatever happens next is successful
