What to expect for Units 9 and 10…

Unit 9 Under “Textbook and PDF” on the Unit 9 tab, there’s a “Question & Answer Activity”. This is helpful! I recommend doing it! Transcription Exercises – This unit you will be transcribing 70 minutes of multispecialty dictation as a review exercise for your final transcription examination.

Unit 9 Edit Documents The assignment for Unit 9 is an editing assignment. You will edit documents that contain common errors consistent with what you might see in medical records. Please apply the editing tips learned this unit when reviewing and correcting these documents. You will be using the MT Client for this exercise. 1. It’s an important life lesson and an important transcription lesson.

Misc. Common mistakes – Which can you name? – What should you watch out for? Headings – This varies a lot by specialty and type of report. Consult some of the websites we’ve talked about with sample reports to get more information.

Self-Confidence You. Can. Do. This. Don’t ever doubt this! I wouldn’t tell a lie! Your first job WILL be patient with you. Take every opportunity to practice! Look up words, retype reports, work hard now and it will pay off! What can you do to build your self- confidence?
