Test Breakdown & Constructed-Response Prompt #s 1-20 Presentation Questions from study guide+ (3 or 4 questions about each of the six stories) #s 21-30 Questions about your specific story #s 31-40 Constructed-Response (Open note; open story) Choose two of the stories from the Gothic Literature Short Story Unit (preferably your own and one other). In the graphic organizer, compare and contrast their storylines as well as the Gothic Characteristics included by each of the authors. Then, pre-write about which fear each story focused on and which story did a better job at instilling fear into the reader and HOW. Lastly, write a one-paragraph response on your own paper discussing each of those traits in order to demonstrate your opinions while backing them up with text evidence.
