The Big Picture – APIS contributes to the common good in Aotearoa New Zealand We:  Serve the Proprietors of all integrated schools in New Zealand, empowering unity and cooperation within a very diverse group.  Are the interface between integrated school Proprietors and government, enabling the relationship to flourish.  Facilitate the work of Proprietors as they fulfil their Integration Agreement responsibilities.  Enthusiastically promote education with a Special Character as an essential choice for New Zealand families. As the operational arm of APIS, NZCEO will:  Continue to focus on comprehensive, quality service to all our members.  Continuously monitor the health of the integrated schools sector.  Scan and respond to our educational, political, social and economic environment.  Progress and strengthen our presence and activities in key strategic relationships. So that:  Graduates of our schools make a difference for good, locally and globally.

Process for site plan update Applications to be made electronically to APIS Applications comprise Completed form to assist with a site plan update for a state integrated school Purpose This form has been developed to assist proprietors of state integrated schools who may be considering updating the site plan of a state integrated school. Using the information and checklist found on this form will enable the efficient processing of the application 3 month process from hereon

How to achieve the best outcome for a maximum roll increase Submit the application through APIS Do your homework Do you have enough accommodation for the roll increase? If so, confirm the SPG with MoE Education Infrastructure Services If not, how will you provide the additional accommodation? Ministry of Education are now looking for comments on Community of Schools – COS. IES Programme, pathway of learning – mention this in the application Engage with the Ministry of Education early about the application
