Minds On We are going to view a film called “The Market” about trade in HBP. Emotional content. Types of questions you can ask: Clarification Content Connection to theories/course material Comments

Mix and Match Terminology  You will be given a list of definitions along with a word bank.  Have a quick look at this handout as these words will help you to understand the film.  Don’t complete the matching now.  If you don’t understand a word, you can stop the film to find the matching definition.

Volunteer One student will sit at the desk and pause the film when requested by another student in the class. Is there a volunteer? Sticky notes will be provided in case questions need to be “parked” and addressed at a later time.

View “The Market” Prior to viewing the film, create a T chart to take notes on both sides of the issue (Pro and Con) A student will volunteer to sit at the front and pause the film when directed by other students.

Homework: Exit Ticket (KWL) After watching “The Market,” answer the following: What did you already know about trade in hbp? What more do you want to find out about trade in hbp? What did you learn about trade in hbp? Point form is okay. I will collect your completed “ticket” on Monday.
