New PA-1 Enhanced Benefits Double wall redundancy Structure is built twice as deep Weir is 4 times thicker Wing walls extend above high water level to the top of bank Rip-Rap downstream serves as an early indicator of problems Structure is built much stronger; pipe and gate are supported on both sides Remote control of the weir gate 24/7 monitoring of upstream water levels 24/7 automatic rain gauge for central area of the City

PA-1 Rehabilitation 2006 Contract Price $487, Final Change Order $72, Final Price$ These are only the construction costs for this project.

PA-1 Replacement 2015 Contract Price $373, % Contingency $37, Final Payment$104, Final Price$514, This is the final cost for this project, replacement was concept designed in house and went from concept on April 8 th to substantially completed in August 2015.

The original budget for this project was $410, Per City Council policy, the Disaster Reserve Fund may be applied toward infrastructure failures. Therefore, staff recommends that the remaining balance for this project be paid from the Disaster Reserve Fund. If there are savings from the Fiscal Year 2016 Stormwater budget, those funds will be used to replenish the Disaster Reserve Fund. Funding Source?
