Far from following trends or others,Álvaro de Castro makes wines in his own, sometimes unconventional, way – following his instinct and individual understanding of the world. Wines made from local grapes - worked in the cellar in an almost chaotic way - turn out to be some of the greatest wines produced from the Dão.
