Presentation transcript:

Support for cooperative experiments in VL-e: from scientific workflows to knowledge sharing

Objectives … The demonstration will show the last results in developing workflow for Grid based systems and the integration of tools developed in various Subprograms in VL-e.

The Application Workflow … Developed in the context of the Ridge-O- grammer use case Human transcriptome map Temperature in Amsterdam DNA curvature of the Escherichia coli chromosome

The Workflow Management System … WSRF compliant workflow engine Workflow monitoring Drag-and-drop composition Hierarchical workflow creation & execution User in the loop Data streaming Detach/re-attach capability Composition panel Monitoring console Property panel Workflow Components palette Implemented as GT4 based/WSRF service Uses GT4 standard delegation service for security Uses GSI enabled, private VNC for Graphical modules Provides notifications for monitoring the execution monitoring of the workflow components: Std Out, Std Err, Status.
