Collaboration Most schools seeing big improvements in achievement are collaboratively creating the UIP Teachers especially need to understand the data and help identify the root causes and action plan

Collaboration Collaborating and creating the UIP generally takes approximately 3 PLCs – September – Data Driven Dialogue – October – Data Driven Dialogue to root cause – November – Action Planning Amount of time and process for involvement varies…discuss how you did this at your site

What stays the same… UIP template Process Timelines

What is different… Possible online UIP Goal setting is very different Assessment data – State assessments are in transition – Cannot set a TCAP goal… – Can set a ACCESS for ELLs goal – Can set an ACT goal – Maybe can set a CMAS goal – Maybe can set an iReady (READ Act) goal

How can we set goals… Use the state data we have: ACCESS for ELLs, ACCESS for ELLs Growth, CMAS, iReady, ACT, Graduation Rate, Dropout Rate Use local data: Galileo, DRA2, Plan, Explore, GOLD, Dibels, SRI, etc.
