Progress of the EIP IMPLEMENTATION in Sweden Nordic-Baltic Rural Network meeting in Poland December 2015

 Managing authority is the Swedish Agricultural Board  National Innovation Network within the Swedish Rural Network Coordinator – promotion, marketing, networking and programming Innovation support (support service and brokering)

 47 mil. € for OGs in the RDP budget  Setting up funding (lump sum) and/or funding of an operational group  Applications all year round  Decision meetings once a month for setting up support  2-4 decision meetings per year for project support  No priority subjects or budget limits for the projects so far (but not forestry)  Advisory selection committee with 7 nominated persons to evaluate applications from OG

Selection criteria 1.The intended innovation improve competitiveness 2.The intended innovation contributes to the introduction of new products, services or methods 3.The intended innovation helps to meet environmental and climate targets 4.The operational group has the necessary capacity to carry out the innovation project 5.The project's effectiveness (activities, budget) 6.The use of results (plan for market entry resp. for communicate the R & D needs Orginality Adop- tion

 The application system has been open since end of August  Handling of applications will start in the end of January 2016  “Kick off” for EIP-Agri at Julita, the Swedish Museum of Agriculture the 22th of September with the Minister of Rural Affairs.
