What Do You Think?? 1. Explain how you think an impact crater is formed. 2. Do you think impact craters are all the same? Why or why not?

Review  Review and discuss with your partners the reading from last night.  Focus on vocabulary and the main ideas.

Station 1  Drop egg into the flour several times.  What do you notice? What do you wonder about?  What makes each time different?  Write these in your lab notebook.

Station 2  Drop egg into the flour one more time.  Draw the resulting crater.  Label the parts of the crater you see using the information provided.  What do you notice?  What do you wonder about?
