Brinkmann Briefing to IDAGS TIM12: 1 st Columbus Laptop Eval Page 2 Introduction o Columbus Displays were assessed by 5 astronaut representatives from NASA and ESA crew offices late Sep The evaluation was performed at ASTRIUM GmbH (Bremen - Germany) on the COL-TRU Simulator (Columbus Trainer for US). All astronaut representatives were experienced in display standards. o Assessment of displays was mainly driven by performing tasks (5 scenarios) in accordance with ODF formatted procedures o Some displays were evaluated solely as static screen dumps (e.g. DMS and COMMS) o Not the full functionality of the PWS (ESA Columbus portable workstation) was implemented. System message panel and Automatic Crew Procedure application was not available
