Introduction You are on a WebQuest! Are you excited to learn the alphabet? We will all learn to identify upper and lower case letters! After you will create an alphabet guide to share with your class! Lets get ready for some ABC fun! Who’s ready to learn?

Task Come along on the ABC adventure with a friend and explore learning more about the ABC’s! As an alphabet explorer you are going to explore the letters in the alphabet! First - find a partner to help you along your way to help you through the ABC journey! Next you will be getting tasks along the way, complete them with your classmate! Work together as a team! Have fun!

Process Become sharp as a pencil by following these steps! 1.Lets start off be identifying each letter of the alphabet! Click on Alphabet Action. Then click on the green arrow to begin the game!Alphabet Action 1.Now alphabet explorer, turn to your partner ask them their favorite letter of the alphabet and why! 1.This next game will help you learn upper and lower case letters. Start with the letter Aa and finish with Zz! Try to remember all the sounds each of the letters make. Click on Alphabet Game and have fun!Alphabet Game

Process (continued) 4.Who wants to play connect the dots to form a picture? Click on Connect the Dots and play the game! Make sure you click on each letter in alphabetical order to create a picture!Connect the Dots 5.Don’t get tired yet! You are doing great! Keep up your great work! 6.Hungry for some alphabet soup? Play this fun game with your partner! Use our site words we have been using in classroom! Click on Alphabet Soup and eat up! Ms. Myers and Ms. Carris know you are all smart cookies to complete this step in the process!Alphabet Soup

Process (continued) 5. The last step in this process is to create an Alphabet Map to show the journey you have explored to your fellow friends in your classroom! Use the paper and colored pencils provided! Create a guide that includes all the letters of the alphabet! Make sure they are in order and there is an upper and lower case letter for each! While creating your guide, draw a picture next to each letter that helps identify that letters sound! Don’t forget to work as a team with your partner!

Now let’s share your hard work with the class! Ms.Myers or Ms. Carris will call all the groups up to show your fellow classmates the hard work you put into your ABC guide!

Conclusion Are you tired from your long alphabet journey? Our hope is that this Webquest gave you knowledge and you feel comfortable with your ABC’s now!
