LOCATION where something is located in the world

LOCATION Absolute Location – an exact description of where something is (using latitude and longitude on a map or a specific mailing address)

LOCATION Relative Location – a general description of where something is

PLACE What a place is like : ANIMALS, BUILDINGS, LAKES, TREES, MOUNTAINS, PEOPLE, BEACHES, ETC.

REGION An area defined by similar characteristics (such as a desert or mountain region, individual states or countries, or a neighborhood)

MOVEMENT How people, products, information, and ideas move from one place to another

RELATIONSHIPS – Human/Environmental Interaction Looks at the relationship between people and their environment – how people change an environment and how an environment changes people.
