BELL WORK WEEK 11

MONDAY IMAGINE YOU HAVE GRADUATED AND ARE NOW SETTING UP YOUR OWN APARTMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME. AS PART OF YOUR INDEPENDENCE YOU DECIDE TO LIVE WITH A FEW OF YOUR FRIENDS WHO ARE DOING THE SAME THING. WOULD YOU WANT TO SET UP SOME RULES FOR SHARING LIVING SPACE? HOW WOULD YOU DECIDE WHICH RULES WERE FAIR TO EVERYONE? WOULD YOU NEED A LEADER TO MOVE THINGS ALONG? WOULD YOU WANT TO LIMIT THE POWER THE LEADER HAS?

TUESDAY DEFINE COMPROMISE. DESCRIBE SITUATIONS IN EVERYDAY LIFE WHEN COMPROMISE IS NECESSARY.

WEDNESDAY USE YOUR VOCABULARY WORDS, “FEDERALISTS AND ANTIFEDERALISTS” IN ONE SENTENCE, WHILE USING THEM BOTH IN CONTEXT.

THURSDAY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS LOOKED TO OTHERS WHEN WRITING THE CONSTITUTION. WHY DO YOU THINK THEY LOOKED AT PAST GOVERNMENTS AND DOCUMENTS FOR GUIDANCE? DO YOU THINK THIS BENEFITTED OUR CURRENT GOVERNMENT OR HINDERED IT? WHY OR HOW?

FRIDAY IF THERE WAS AN AMENDMENT THAT YOU COULD ADD TO THE CONSTITUTION, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
