GEOGRAPHY OF LAPEDO VALLEY EVA - SIGMA

Location  Lapedo Child was found in Lagar Velho, which is in Lapedo Valley, Portugal. This is very close to Leiria.

Features  Lapedo Valley is formed by walls of limestone, with the Caranguejeira River at the bottom. It is very rocky, and has lots of hills. The Atlantic Ocean is to the west, and the closest mountain range is the Serra da Estrela.

Climate  The weather in Lapedo Valley is always a warm climate, never too hot or cold.  The annual average temperature is 61 degrees F.  The annual rain fall is about 31 inches of rain.
