Footloose  This movie was very popular in 1984, and still is popular today. I think dance in the movie made it popular.  Dance was incorporated through out the whole movie, including singing.  This movie is about dancing being banned in a small town. Kevin Bacon the new kid in town wants to change that. This movie affects popular culture but the way dance is put into the movie. 

Dance in videos. The first video I’m using is Paula Abdul’s “Dance Like There's No Tomorrow”. The second video I’m using is Michael Jacksons “Thriller”. Paula Abduls music video is more dancing steps that we use today, and Thriller is more of its own unique dance moves. I find that Thriller is more fun to watch because its very intense, and Paula Abduls is more dull. &p=7242B1C7E0AE2E1E&index=0
