Leonid Afremov born 12 July 1955 in Vitebsk, Belarus. Between 1990 and 2002 he lived in Israel, and from 2002 to 2010 in Boca Raton, Florida Leonid Afremov graduated, was admitted to the Vitebsk Education Institute where he studied in the arts and graphics department.

Themes OVER THE HORIZON Afremov uses vibrant colors in his paintings to convey the theme of a happy, nature, healthy enviroment.

Struggles Before the advancement of online sales and eBay, Afremov was a struggling artist. 980’s he started doing free lance work for communal farms and schools. Difficult time supporting his three kids, wife and himself.

Inspirations Marc Chagall Pablo Picasso Salvador Dali Early artistic work was very influenced by Chagall and Amedeo Modigliani.

Reflection I really enjoyed working on this power point and I didn’t choose an artist from the list Mr.Lim provided.. However I did ask for permission which he then approved of. I wanted to create this presentation on an artist who isn’t very famous and well known because Afremov is extremely talented and creates beautiful, colored and vibrant paintings to convey a certain message in each one. The time that took me to do this was approximately minutes. Mr.Afremov needs to be acknowledged more for his incredible accomplishments.
