Our Role as School Counselors  Meet with students and families for a broad range of reasons including: academic planning, schedule changes, schedule errors, post-secondary planning, personal issues, etc.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS 23.5 TOTAL CREDITS MINIMUM 4.0 ENGLISH 3.0 MATH 0.5 HEALTH 3.0 SCIENCE 3.0 SOCIAL STUDIES 1.5 PE 8.5 ELECTIVES  ** Starting with the Class of 2017, Graduation requirements will include successful completion of a state mandated Civics exam. 4 YEAR UNIVERSITIES *3.0 SCIENCE * MATH SOME REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF A WORLD LANGUAGE.

TESTING INFORMATION 9 th &10 th Grades– Required ACT Aspire, May th Grade- PSAT *recommended for top 20% of Class 11 th Grade- ACT/SAT required for university admission. *ACT state mandatory test in March at MHS 11 th & 12 th Grades- ASVAB required for Military, recommended for career exploration
