Traffic Signs What are the classifications of traffic signs? Regulatory: tell drivers what to do. They control traffic and tell you about laws that you must obey. Warning: help you to avoid surprise situations and tell you that danger is ahead. Guide: Help to find routes, intersections, service areas, and other points of interest or information. Tell you how to get places
Regulatory Signs: Stop Sign: RED, OCTAGON, WITH WHITE LETTERS come to a FULL STOP and yield the right of way Stop at the white stop line (if present) or even with the location of the sign.

Warning Signs: Help you to avoid surprise situation. Most are diamond shaped with a yellow background and black writing. What should you be prepared to do when you see a warning sign? Slow down or Stop!!!
