The Plan School Year Formed a team of stakeholders (Parents, Students, Educators) Investigated other programs and devices Developed a comprehensive plan Prepared for phased implementation Hosted professional development with 7 th grade faculty
School Year Implement "1 to 1" pilot with 7 th grade (Class of 2018) Focused professional development with 7 th grade faculty Small number of iPads assigned in grades 5/6 classrooms iPads provided to grade 8 teachers Surveys completed in June 2013 Study the pilot and make corrections
The Plan cont School Year Extend "1 to 1" up one level to the 8 th Grade 7 th (Class of 2019) and 8 th (Class of 2018) CURRENT 7th grade students will receive their original iPads in grade 8 7th grade students will receive new iPads and cases (sleeves), families will want to determine if a personal case is needed, as well as other optional items iPads will be distributed within the first 2 weeks of school and be sent home by late October AFTER Digital Citizenship class has started
